I have never had success at gambling,
BUT lately I've been one lucky girl.
I totally won the jack pot on this
random game at Gasoline Alley.
Yup, yup!!
Some 800 and something tickets. =)
Savannah was thrilled!
I was shocked!
We got to pick out BIG prizes on the wall!
My good news minute!

We have been saved.
My father in law is here from Wisconsin.
I feel blessed.
Not so lonely.
I have a smile on my face.
He lifted some of the weight off of my shoulders.
It is AMAZING watching him be a GRANDPA.
He is a natural.
Savannah loves him.
We love him.
We have talked.
We have giggled.
We have prayed.
We have been SAVED!

Got A Photo?

Rules: Open your picture file, go to the fourth folder, and then the fourth picture.

Post the picture and write a little bit about what was going on!
My 19th birthday! So young! AAAhhh!

Wheeler Farm

This was a total BLAST!Cheap too! 50 cents for a BIG bag of food for the ducks!

Savannah couldn't help herself. She wanted to pet them.

Just a $1.50 for a fun tractor/wagon ride!

We are getting better at venturing out of our comfort zone, and trying new things. It has been fun!

40 Tips To A Better Life.

#8 Spend time with
people over the age of 70
and under the age of 6.

Paul and I volunteered to watch the Woodward gang.
It was so fun to watch them.
They all loved when the camera came out!

My First Attempt.

I went to this place, and was way over charged for a vase. BUT I LOVE IT.
Then I went to this place, and the flowers were 1/2 off.
It's my first attempt at making a flower arrangement. I like it. What do you think?

Through It All...

I'm still ME!
I got my nails done...They are painted BRIGHT purple.
I still sing in the car. =)
I eat when I'm stressed.
I picked new glasses out...They are BRIGHT orange.
I am diggin' the Halloween candy isle.
I could live in my PJ's.
I love spending $$.
I am goin' have to buy tickets to the circus if I want to go. =(
I have the WORST luck at those dumb Kodak printing machines. GRRRR!!
I will accomplish something big this week.
(I'll get back to you on that.)
AND I still hate to grocery shop.

I've Learned.

Pray often, love unconditionally, and rely on each other.
A band aid still cures A LOT.I have more patience than I thought.
I love the Fall. I am a child of God.
I love being a Wife and Mommy.
I have support.
I am glad that I can go to the Temple, and find peace.
My job is AWESOME, and the people that work there with me.
This to shall pass is my new motto.
There is no place like home.
West Jordan park has an AMAZING playground.
It's okay to share our deepest and darkest secrets.
I love when Savannah tries to dress herself. =)
I have a husband that loves me more than I thought one person could.
Sometimes you have to kick and scream to let people know you are serious.

Thank you.

If I haven't said it enough, I don't really like cooking. I prefer to have someone else cook my food whether that be Cafe Rio or maybe
Chili's. I'll even take a home cooked meal from a neighbor ;).

My thankful Thursday is simply this...
Thank you to Any and ALL food places.
We tried out Ogies today.
Cheap, yummy, and a extremely popular place among MEN! =) I think Savannah and I were the only girls in the place
(besides the waitress).
Pancakes the size of plates.
Hashbrowns with melted swiss cheese.
(FYI...I love any kind of cheese!)
AND let's not forget 3 kinds of meat!
This is a must to try.

Half Bath.

We got motivated and hung the mirror up, and got a few little knick knacks! Shane brought us home from Panama the cute monkey that matches perfect. =) I don't think that we will move on to another room for awhile, but it does feel good to complete something.

Just like every other girl in America I have read, and re-read the books. I can't say that I'm obsessed, but I did LOVE them. If Savannah sees the books in the store...she will scream "Momma, it's your books!" Then she will proceed to say dum, dum, dum!! =) "The Bella Bug"

Tag You Are It.

1. Link to the person who has tagged you:
Nipper Family
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.

1. I really do LOVE to sing. I don't know if I'm great, but I don't care. I use to sing in a choir, I sang at my Grandma's funeral, brother's farewell, etc. That is one REALLY great thing about being in Primary...singing time. I am the only teacher who actually stands up with their class to do the actions too. Oh, and as much as Paul hates when I do it...I sing in the car!

2. I hate socks, and I have passed this on to Savannah. I don't like wearing them in the winter either. I wear sandals pretty much year round. Savannah's feet actually start to peel, because she will NOT wear socks.

3. I have the WORST teeth! One dentist appointment I had 14 cavities. Pathetic huh!? I have had teeth pulled, and I have lots of crowns, and a bridge. boo. =(

4. I don't like re-watching movies. We didn't start actually buying DVD's until Savannah was born. Once I have seen it...I don't usually ever see it again. Savannah on the other hand can watch the same movie 3 times in a day. How can you not get sick of it?!

5. I have a horrible memory. I always remember the stuff that isn't going to get me very far. If Paul tells me to do something I am bound to forget it...BUT I don't forget that I want to go to the scrap book store. lol

6. I am a sentimental gal. I love having things that remind me of my childhood. I love going on rides to look at all the houses that I lived in. I even like going to Holiday Oil for treats, because it reminds me of being a teenager. I insist on having traditions with Savannah, because I want her to have a lot of fun memories.

Okay, now I tag ummm...

Last night I took a bath, and shaved my legs. Not thinking, I didn't put my razor back up on the shelf in the shower. You can guess what happened?!! Savannah successfully shaved her leg, and then proudly announced she did so! You then wonder what I was doing while she was shaving her leg...yeah, let's not talk about it. =)

Grandparents Day

Do you remember in Elementary school when they did picture re-takes? Don't you sometimes wish that you could do re-takes in life.
Here are my two re-takes...
  • Go to school.
  • Not get a job at 16...you have to work FOREVER anyway!!

What would you do differently...your re-takes?

they didn't make cars with so many darn bells and whistles! I already have to take the silver bullet in tomorrow, because some random light came on that I can't get to shut off. =( Bummer!!

manicure monday

It has been years since I treated myself to a set of nails. =) I actually hate the process of getting them put on, but I feel like a whole new woman!! Here's to many more manicure Mondays!!
